We understand that you want the very best for your child, which is why we go above and beyond to provide the best tutoring. Our team consists of fully qualified teachers and degree-level tutors who are equipped to support students across primary, secondary, GCSE, A-levels, and entrance exams.

Our online sessions are conducted via platforms such as Zoom, Google meet or Microsoft team, all of which offer advanced features for online remote meetings. These include screen sharing, remote control, AI-powered meeting summaries, and interactive whiteboards to enhance the learning experience.

Contact us to learn about available sessions. We offer private tutoring or small group sessions, accessible from the comfort of your home or boarding school, no matter where your child(run) is/are in the world.

At SquareStudio CambridgeTutors, starting from January 2025, we are offering group tutoring sessions on weekends in the mornings (UK time, early evening in Korea) for students who returned to Korea with their parents after studying in the UK, to help them maintain and improve their English skills. After a trial class, students may be placed into a group tutoring class based on the teacher’s judgment.

Class content will build on what has been covered last term, with a shift in focus to non-fiction writing skills(journalistic articles, persuasive speeches, and opinion pieces etc)

What your child will learn is how to speak during a debate and discussion which is involving ;

  • Maintain Clarity and Simplicity.

  • Practise Active Listening.

Debating lessons will teach your child to learn the art of persuasion. Debate is all about defending your child's stance with strong arguments and convincing the judges that your child's team is correct or at least that there is truth to your child's side of team.

Your child will learn the key skills via Debating and Discussion group lessons; critical thinking, boosting confidence, active listening and communicating with clarity.

Maths

As well as a BA in Maths, Ryan also has an MA in Maths from University of Cambridge, Cambridge and has been studying PhD in Maths, Kings College, University of Cambridge.

Ryan also has experience of teaching and tutoring Maths at KS2, KS3 and GCSE.

These lessons are designed to be suitable for students of all levels. The tutor will cover a wide range of topics, focusing on developing essential language skill, including speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation.

For younger students, conversation lessons will emphasise building vocabulary, improving conversational skills, and addressing common language challenges through discussions and interactive activities Each session will aim to enhance fluency while addressing individual learning needs.

English 1

Judy graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in English Literature and Language and has been teaching English Literature and Language since 2014.

Judy is a Key Stage Three Coordinator at her current private school and has drafted GCSE English Literature papers, exemplar student responses and marking schemes.

Julia graduated from the University of Cambridge with a degree in English Literature and Language and has been teaching at OBH Boarding school for many years.

Joohee C.

GCSE and A-Level Arts for All Levels

This lesson is designed for GCSE and A-Level students preparing for the Arts’ University. Joohee will cover a wide range of techniques, processes, and methods to help you demonstrate creativity, with a focus on developing essential painting skills.

Joohee served as the Head Instructor at Art Institutions in South Korea for seven years, specialising in intensive classes aimed at preparing students for entrance exams to prestigious universities such as Hongik University and Seoul National University.

If you want to book an one-off lesson as a trial, please feel free to book an available tutor. Regarding an one-off trial lesson, you can choose 30 mins trial, 60mins trial and 90mins trial.
