This 5 days group lessons start on Saturday, 27th Dec 2025 and end on Wednesday, 31st Dec 2025.

Word-Venture Group Courses are designed to help children grow their vocabulary and become more confident, expressive writers. Over five fun and interactive sessions, your child will explore different types of figurative language—such as similes, metaphors, and personification—through games, examples, and guided activities.

Each session focuses on a new writing task, including a poem, a descriptive piece, a dramatic scene, a story continuation, and even a chapter of a book. Children will be inspired by exciting fantasy stories like The Wild Robot series, helping them stretch their imagination while learning new skills.

This course is perfect for children who are new to creative writing, as well as those who need extra practice using figurative language in a clear and effective way. It’s a supportive, enjoyable environment that encourages creativity, builds confidence, and makes writing something to look forward to.

  • Taught by a qualified and experienced teachers with excellent references and hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate, registered with the Update Service.
