Core English Skills – Primary KS2 Yr4-Yr6

Core English Skills goes beyond focusing on a single area of English.
This programme helps younger learners build strong foundations in sentence structure and basic grammar while developing confidence in speaking and writing.

Through guided reading and vocabulary development, students learn how words, sentences, and meaning work together.
This balanced approach supports clear expression, accurate language use, and confidence in using English both in and out of the classroom.

Core English Skills is important because English proficiency depends on a strong foundation across reading, writing, speaking, vocabulary, and sentence structure.
